Abstract:

Introduction: The mental wellness of healthcare pro-fessionals, especially doctors and nurses, has become critical post-COVID-19. The ARISE (Achieving Resili-ence in Stressful Environments) Resilience Research Program, initiated in January 2023, supports their mental wellness and resilience and aims to enhance individual well-being, improve patient outcomes, and foster health-ier team environments.

Methods: The ARISE Program includes a 10-week app-based learning intervention and weekly virtual coaching sessions to foster community connection. Im-plemented in various healthcare facilities, it engages a diverse cohort of professionals. Effectiveness is measured using quantitative pre- and post-intervention surveys, including the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), and assessments of stress, anxiety, burnout, and job satisfaction. Qualitative data from in-depth inter-views capture participants’ experiences and perceived benefits.

Results: The 18-month intervention yielded signifi-cant positive outcomes. Resilience scores increased by over 11 points on the CD-RISC. Stress, anxiety, and burnout symptoms significantly decreased, while job sat-isfaction improved. Participants reported increased confi-dence in managing work-related stress and a stronger sense of well-being.

Discussion and Conclusion: The ARISE Resilience Research Program promotes mental wellness among healthcare professionals. Combining self-led learning with community support, the program improves resili-ence, reduces stress and burnout, and enhances job satis-faction.
